The design for the user inteface is poor at best. Because of the user design, it is very hard and annoying to use.
No Evidence is very good at privacy effectiveness. No Evidence only supported 4 additional plugins, far lower than most of the products reviewed. A plugin is a small piece of interface software that allows your computer to erase the history of the last used files within certain desktop applications like image viewers, graphical editors, chat, email, readers, etc.
No Evidence's Internet browser cleaning features included address bar, auto-complete, cache (Temporary Internet Files), cookies, downloaded files, favorites list, and history of visited URLs. The Windows cleaning features included clipboard data, common dialog history, file slack space, find/search history, index.dat files, media player history, recently opened documents, registry backups, registry streams, run History, start-menu click history, start-menu order history, swap files, temporary files/directories, and user selected files/directories. It also had cleaning options available at startup and with the ability to schedule. No Evidence allowed you to overwrite files from 1-9 times and had a stealth mode special option. The product supports Internet Explorer/MSN and Netscape Navigator.
Overall, No Evidence is a good product and with all of its features could easily become a much better product with a design overhaul.
