Are you looking for a cordless lawn mower deal? Me too! It took some finding, but after hitting up some of my favorite stores, I found a Greenworks number that'll help keep the grass in order and more.
The Greenworks 60V 21” Self-Propelled Lawn Mower is discounted from $648 down to $497 at Walmart (a $151 saving). And what you get for this mega saving is not one but TWO BATTERIES and a charger. This means you get the complete kit for cutting the grass AND the option to use the batteries with other Greenworks 60V products, such as hedge trimmers and string trimmers.
The deal has got to be on par with the lawn mower deals we see during Black Friday, which gives you an early opportunity to bag one of the best lawnmowers for less before the intense shopping season heats up.
Greenworks 60V 21” Self-Propelled Lawn Mower: key features
There's a lot going on under the deck and hood of the Greenworks 60V 21” Self-Propelled Lawn Mower. While I haven't gotten my hands on it to take it around my yard, I have tested Greenworks products before and can vouch for the accuracy of the specs. In this case, I'm impressed by the specifications.
This cordless mower's run time is 80 minutes, which is plenty long enough for cutting the grass in a one-acre yard. If you need longer to make the mower go further, you can either swap in the additional battery (you get two) or take a break while it fills up with juice.
It has a 21-inch steel cutting deck, which provides enough airflow for maximum cuts. Then there's the 4-in-1 design; it'll mulch, bag, discharge through the side, or pick up leaves. For me, I would always bag up grass clippings because of the embarrassing amount of weeds growing on our lawn, which I wouldn't want to spread around. Still, mulching would be good for this time of year if it were in a better condition, as it would return nutrients to the soil ready for fall.
I often struggle with storing lawn mowers. Thankfully, the Greenworks 60V 21” Self-Propelled Lawn Mower has an easy-pull, foldable handle that allows for vertical storage in seconds.
