Amazon is heavyweight in online shopping and more of us are using the all encompassing online retailer to buy everything from daily essentials to kitchen gadgets and office equipment to grocery shopping, all delivered in record time with the super efficient Prime delivery service.
In this tutorial we’re going to look at how you can print off your invoices on Amazon to keep a receipt either in digital PDF or as a physical print to keep your purchases stored securely and filed neatly, this is particularly handy if you keep receipts for tax purposes when running a business. Let’s take a look at how it’s done.
How to print receipts from Amazon
Go to www.amazon.com and log into your Amazon account. At the top of the banner on the Amazon, website click on the 'Returns & Orders' button next to your basket, this will take you to a new page where you can see all of your previous orders. If you can’t see the specific order you need, click on the drop-down list that says ‘past three months’ by default and change this to whichever year is of interest to you and it will then bring up all of the orders you placed in that time frame.
Now scroll down to the specific order you’d like to print out and click on the 'Invoice' button on the right. Then choose 'Order Summary' from the fly-out menu that appears.
At the top of the screen, you’ll see your order number and below it, a button you can press that says ‘Print this page for your records’. Click this button to bring up the printing options and change the destination to either save as a PDF or choose the printer you’d like to print to for a physical copy that you can store and archive.
You can also choose which of the pages you’d like to print rather than the whole document and also whether to print in portrait or landscape format. In the print options click 'More Settings' to set the paper size, by default this will be set to A4, and whether to print in color or black and white to save on ink. When you’ve finished adjusting the print settings simply hit the 'Print' button to start printing your Amazon invoice. When you’re done go back to the 'Your Orders' page and repeat this process for any other transactions that you’d like to print or backup as a PDF.
