Amazon confirmed today (June 25, 2024) that Amazon Prime Day will take place on July 16-17 in the UK and the US. This is your chance to get the summer savings on your wishlist.

As part of their 10th Prime Day, you'll have access to hundreds of thousands of deals across a wide selection of popular brands, including Shark, Ninja, Bissell, Keurig, and more. While all the offers will be in one place on Amazon, there will be a lot to shift through, so we recommend bookmarking our Amazon Prime Day deals page so you can shop all the top offers from one place.

If you're ready to take advantage of those limited-time offers and Prime Member benefits, you're in luck: you can add those to your cart today. If you're not already a Prime Member, it would be wise to sign up for the 30-day free trial so you're ready for the full sale next month.

New deals will drop throughout the event, and fast, free delivery will be available to all Prime members. Last year, Prime members worldwide saved over $2.5 billion during Prime Day. This year, you'll be able to browse personalized recommendations, including “Deals you might like,” “Deals for you,” and “Deals related to items you saved,” making it more of a personalized shopping experience than in other years.

You can also prepare to get the most out of Prime Day in a few different ways:

  • Get deal notifications from Alexa: Prime members can ask Alexa for deal notifications on products added to their Wish List, Cart or Save for Later. Just ask, “Alexa, add [product name] to my cart,” and then ask Alexa to notify you about the deal when it’s live.
  • Set up tailored deal notifications: Prime members can also set up personalized deal notifications to alert them when their recent searches and product views have deals. To start receiving these alerts in time for Prime Day, visit the Prime Day event page on the Amazon Shopping app to create the deal alerts
  • Choose convenient delivery options: With free and fast shipping, this Prime Member benefit can make life a bit easier. You can also stagger deliveries by opting for your preferred shipping method, avoiding too many boxes to unpack.

What can I expect from Prime Day 2024?

You can expect to see thousands of deals on small appliances, tech, yard tools, and other household items. Amazon is one of the go-to retailers for your everyday needs, from cleaning products to food and gadgets to toys. There are genuinely not many things that they do not sell, so Amazon Prime Day is your chance to get the things you need and want for less.

In previous years, we have seen coffee makers with up to 60% off, vacuum cleaners with up to 50% off, and lawnmowers with up to 40% off. We're expecting this again or, if not, better.

We'll monitor the sales closely by picking out our top deal finds and rounding up a selection of our favorites. You must be a Prime Member, even if it is only for sale purposes. The 30-day free trial would be worth checking out, and we recommend doing this sooner rather than later because the 16 July will come around fast.

How do I become an Amazon Prime member?

To access Amazon Prime Day deals, you must be an Amazon Prime member. This costs $14.99 per month, and you can cancel anytime.

However, if you haven't subscribed to become a member, you can use the 30-day Amazon Prime free trial to buy the deals. You won't be eligible if you've used it in past Prime Day sales or previously signed up for the subscription service.

Signing up is easy. If you’ve never been a member before, you can use the 30-day trial that allows for free Prime membership. If you want to cancel when the month is up, you can do so easily, and it won’t cost you a dime

While on the free trial, you can get all the other membership benefits, including free next-day shipping, access to Prime Video, and so much more. You can cancel for free any time during the trial, but you're in the 30-day window, so it's worth considering for sale events such as this.

Looking to shop with more resellers this summer? The 4th of July sales is the week before Prime Day officially begins. Other resellers, such as Lowe's and Best Buy, will have discounts across small and major appliances and lawn care during this event. Closer to the time, it would be worth looking out for anti-Prime Day deals to see how competition heats up with rivaling Prime Day discounts.
